Description:

• Full time position available for 2^nd shift Maintenance Team Employee in a Union Manufacturing Plant
• Our 2^nd shift works a 4 day week Monday through Thursday, working 10 hour days 2:30 pm to 1:00 am
• Competitive wages and benefits – starting wage will vary $22.23 to $27.33 depending on qualifications and experience, with additional growth opportunities available.
• Position includes performing routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on corrugated and rigid box production equipment and on plant systems
• Responsibilities include adjusting and maintaining equipment in the production and shipping areas, trouble shooting, and repairing machine breakdowns (electrical & mechanical).
• General maintenance work in the facility including basic plumbing, electrical and general facility repairs.
• Timely completion of work assignments working independently and as part of a crew in making repairs.
• Must be able to obtain & maintain a forklift license.

Requirements:

• Preferred candidates are familiar with a corrugated or rigid box manufacturing plant and equipment, and have previous work experience in industrial machine repair.
• Basic electricity, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Good mechanical, welding & building maintenance skills
• Good attendance and work ethic required
• Must be willing to work overtime occasionally
• Ability to lift, push, pull, stand, walk, bend and kneel throughout the entire shift
