Central Package and Display is searching for an experienced Production Manager / Supervisor to oversee production operations and manage / direct plant personnel to achieve production goals. Production operations include corrugated, folding carton, and maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with Scheduler and Production Manager to schedule production orders for 2^nd
• Supervise & Train Personnel: Assign personnel to specific tasks, monitor team for quality and efficiency, and provide instruction and guidance as needed.
• Assures Quality Controls are maintained and inspections are completed per Company standards.
• Work with Production Manager & HR Manager to hire, train, supervise and discipline production personnel.
• Monitor Safety: Strive to prevent injuries and accidents by monitoring safety within the department and make recommendations to improve safeguards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Team Leadership: The ability to effectively manage union leads and production workers.
• Time Management: Highly organized and ability to multi-task.
• Safety Conscience: Ability to prioritize workplace safety to prevent injuries
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with employees and management. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Familiarity with manufacturing software a plus.
• Excellent Attendance, highly motivated and a self-starter
• Physical Demands: Must be able to work full time, working Monday through Thursday afternoon/evening schedule.

Required Experience

• Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or Manager (minimum of 3 years).
• Experience in Manufacturing is a must, and within the corrugated industry is preferred.
