Project Coordinator/Job Planner
Central Package and Display is searching for a candidate to add to our team. In this role you will coordinate all aspects of projects from quote to timely shipment of the product. You will be in constant communication with customers, our sales team, and CPD personnel at all levels. Career growth opportunities are available for the right candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process and expedite orders from start to finish by maintaining constant communication with customers, suppliers, sales and all departments within the company.
- When appropriate (new customer, existing customer with complex, large and/or high dollar value project) schedule and conduct initial Pre-Flight Meeting to inform each department about the project scope & requirements.
- Delegate & document all action items to specific personnel with timelines.
- Meet regularly with personnel involved to insure every aspect of project is on task.
- Confirm verbal updates with follow-up emails on project status log & keep all pertinent personnel informed.
- Act as main contact between and among sales personnel, vendors, customers, and all departments within CPD.
- Write and process quotes.
- Make regular personal visits with sales personnel to top customers.
- Document NMR (Non-Conforming Material Report) information for Quality Department.
- Purchase material as required for customer orders.
- Build & maintain Item Files for purchasing and customer pricing.
- Manage inventory and orders through customer portals as required.
- Expedite and insure execution of projects according to established processes.
- Act as backup to other Project Coordinators as necessary, and train backup on your accounts.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Corrugated Packaging & Folding Carton knowledge helpful
- Excellent problem solving ability and strong math skills
- Graphics and/or printing education or experience helpful
- Excellent written, oral and computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Familiarity with Amtech manufacturing software a plus.
- Highly organized and ability to multi-task
- Excellent attendance and highly motivated.
- Must be able to perform the duties of the position on a full-time basis.
Required Experience
- Business Degree preferred
- 5-10 years of Project Management experience in a manufacturing environment
